Fr. Matthew Brown
Father Matthew is Rector of Saint Mary Magdalen in Manhattan. He is also the Diocesan Secretary for the Diocese of New York and New Jersey (OCA). He earned his Bachelors in Philosophy and Religion from Spring Arbor University and his Master's of Divinity from Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary. He is currently studying for his PhD in theology from Fordham University and lives with his wife Elizabeth and their three children in Glen Rock, New Jersey.

Nick Tabor
Nick Tabor is a freelance journalist living in New Orleans. His first book, Africatown: America’s Last Slave Ship and the Community It Created, is forthcoming from St. Martin’s Press. His long-term parish home is the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection in Manhattan.

Sophie Ries
Sophie Ries is an illustrator and designer living in St. Cloud, MN. She earned a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and is currently a designer for Ancient Faith Ministries. She is a parishioner at Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Church in St. Cloud, where her husband is rector.

Deacon David Maliniak
Deacon David Maliniak has over 30 years of experience as a technology journalist covering the electronics industry and another seven years in technical marketing communications for a high-technology company. He holds a B.A. in journalism from New York University. He is attached to Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Paramus, NJ, where he worships with Matushka Elizabeth and their daughter Sophie. The Maliniaks hail from Ramsey, NJ.

Amelia Antzoulatos
Amelia Antzoulatos is an MA candidate in religion at Yale Divinity School, where she studies Eastern Orthodox political theology. After graduating from Fordham University in 2021 (BA economics, religious studies), she worked as a communications specialist for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Amelia spends her free time in pursuit of a good cup of coffee; she also enjoys reading, making music, and collaging. Her home parish is the Cathedral of St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, NJ.

Samira Kawash is a parishioner at the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection in New York City. She is professor emerita at Rutgers University, where she taught literature and cultural studies.
